What's Next

First off. We have to say "Thank you" to so many who have shared their heart and care for us as a couple. 

Here we are about six months after another IUI attempted (making six in all plus an IVF). Amidst all the emotions and ups and downs of trying to get pregnant we decided to take a few months break after meeting with the doctor who shared he didn't really know why it isn't working but that my body just responses different each time so it is hard to tell. He then gave out options like considering embryo adoption, or even moving in a different direction with standard adoption, etc.

From here we decided to take a pause. Then in February we were invited to visit Nairobi, Kenya with When I Grow Up and LifePoint (our home church). With this incredible invitation to see a part of the world in a way we never imagined, we decided to put a pause on all the fertility options and continue to pray for what God has next for us. We have been investigating adoption agencies and even praying about what life looks like if you don't have kids. It definitely is a different picture and even hard to really imagine when living a culture that is so family focused.  

As we continue forward, we ask for your prayers. In all of this, with all our hearts we want to honor and serve God with all we are with kids or without.
