What an adventure my life has already been . . . from great heights of love, adventure and ministry to heartbreaking turns of loss and grief . . . I am still living life and trusting God as a creative adventurer and storyteller.
This blog is dedicated to sharing my (Jenn's grief story). As a widow in my 40s, there is a lot process. I continue to share my heart with hopes of encouraging and shining a light on the complicated parts of grief in a real and honest way. Grief is not easy but talking about it helps bring clarity (and hopefully encourages others too).

For over two decades, I've develop content for print and digital communications. Serving as a Communications director and freelance consultant, I've worked on many projects. If you'd like to know more or have a project, I'd love to chat with you.
In April 2019, Josh Brown, Jenn's late husband, was diagnosed with with a glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor. He passed away on September 30, 2019. From the start we shared our story honestly as a way to help others facing cancer or hardship. The outcome was not ideal but it is part of the story. The "Journey with Josh" blog highlights this chapter in our story. This part of the site navigates the heartache of facing cancer, hospice and loss while striving to trust in a God of hope.
